Monster waarschuwt voor tegenvallende resultaten Q3 2016

Monster heeft donderdag in een persbericht aan beleggers gemeld dat de resultaten in het derde kwartaal tegen zullen vallen. De kwartaalcijfers worden op 21 oktober gepubliceerd.

Monster publiceerde het bericht voor het openen van de Amerikaanse beurs. De verwachte omzet ligt 14% onder die van dezelfde periode vorig jaar, en ook ver onder de $153 miljoen waar analisten van Bloomberg op hadden gerekend. De omzetdaling is groter dan de daling van 10% die Monster behaalde in het tweede kwartaal.

Nog veel onzeker
Uitdagende omstandigheden veroorzaken de omzetdaling. Ook inzake het voltooien van de overname door Randstad houdt Monster slagen om de arm. De overname is nog niet goedgekeurd door de autoriteiten. De operationele planning van de overname heeft nog veel voeten in de aarde. Verder is het niet uitgesloten dat er nog andere partijen komen die een bod uitbrengen.
